Please add HST to the prices below.

Lessons

 

1. All riders must wear an ASTM certified riding helmet, properly fitted and secured while mounted.

2. Riders should be dressed appropriately for safe riding. This includes all riders: boarders, lesson students and guests. Long pants and heeled riding boots are necessary for safety. A heeled boot may prevent the foot from slipping through the stirrup, which could be tragic if the rider should fall and be dragged.

3. Please be on time for your riding lessons. Being late to your lesson causes an inconvenience to your fellow riders and instructor who need to maintain a punctual schedule. You should arrive 20-30 minutes ahead to give a good groom to your horse, tack up, and put on your equipment.

4. If you need to cancel your lesson, please be courteous and contact your instructor 24 hours in advance.

Practice Rides

​Only for students of MHS...

Training rides may include lunging, riding on the flat, training specific skills for Western, Dressage, Jumping, or anti-spooking.

​Current students may apply for part board on their lesson horse.  This allows students to practice their skills between lessons.  Prices depend on # rides/week.  Please see Leona for availability.
